This is one of the two of my JS test knives that are still available. The knife is in the style of the Gentleman's Dress bowies from the San Francisco gold rush era. It resembles the work of a mid 19th century cutler named Michael Price. The blade is 8 1/2 inches of hand forged 1084 with a nickle silver oval guard, black buffalo horn spacers, a turned nickel silver capture nut, and bone handles with a red fiber spacer. The clipped edge is just barely sharp. It is a light, elegant, gents knife.
